Tony Ward was the new vendor I met this market.  I was introduced to him in Milano and was instantly impressed with his talent and outstanding designs.  Ines di Santo had one of the best collections I saw in NYC , always elegant and cutting edge designs. What were your favorite collections?

Our shops are crazy for Vagabond!  It’s a new, edgy but chic line out of South Africa. The Kahlo gown is a must-see. We’ve already had inquiries from celebs to wear it to awards shows!

Did you see any new and exciting trends this season?

We were excited to see all of our designers really nailing the trends this season in a modified way. The 3D florals were just right and the laces felt like the perfect blend of geometric, bohemian and romantic.  We are finding our brides don’t want to be pigeon-holed into one ‘look’ so when the combinations come together, it’s magical.

What new trends do you plan on buying?

We are opting for every variation of the clean and modern neckline. So many fine details on how a neckline scoops or seams attach can create visual interest in the most simple gown and we are here for it!

JAN CARROlL -BOCA RATON BRIDAL

What were your favorite collections?

Our favorite collection this season was from a South African designer named Vagabond.  The styles were fresh and light and catering to that new, out of the box bride.  It was something we were definitely needing in our overall salon collection.

Did you see any new and exciting trends this season?

The designers are really digging in to the dramatic sleeve trend and we are loving it!  Long dramatic sleeves from Romona Keveza, exaggerated bell sleeves from Vagabond and over the top voluminous sleeves from Galia Lahav’s Gala were among our favorites.

What new trends do you plan on buying?

We decided this market to really search for those one of a kind pieces not every bride will wear.  We wanted to add some uniqueness to our mix and really capture that fashion forward bride this season.

MELISSA RUSSELL & natalie bauer -BELLA BIANCA BRIDAL COUTURE

What were your favorite collections?

We were so pleased with all of the collections this season! Designers are certainly listening to brides with the wearability and price point of their designs this season. We were wowed by Galia Lahav as usual with their feminine romance and unapologetic glamour. Lazaro came out with a collection full of his trademark lace and beaded styles that toe the line between classic and sexy. We are very excited to be the first official retailer in the United States for Australian designer George Elsissa! He is immensely talented and creates each gown from scratch to match the brides vision.

Did you see any new and exciting trends this season?

It may not be a new trend, but we are very excited to see that most designers are going back to proper structure and construction in the gowns. For a few seasons, it has been all about the deconstructed, unlined, sheer styles which are stunning but very difficult to wear for many body types. This season across the board we were seeing less plunging necklines and backlines, more boning and inner structure that will allow brides of all sizes to feel secure and stunning.

What new trends do you plan on buying?

We were excited to incorporate more body veils, capes and stunning Maria Elena crowns to our salons as brides are more interested in being fashion forward with their accessories. It is a great option for brides who want to stay a little more traditional for their gown, but add some flair to their look overall!
