DESIGNER INES DI SANTO ON HER FALL 2025 COLLECTION: "RENAISSANCE REIMAGINED"

Ines, it’s an honor to sit down with you today for an exclusive preview of your much-anticipated Fall 2025 Collection, *Renaissance Reimagined*. Can you tell us about the inspiration behind this collection?

Thank you! I'm thrilled to share a glimpse into this collection. The Renaissance era has always fascinated me—its art, its sense of beauty, and its incredible attention to detail. I wanted to take those timeless elements and breathe new life into them, reinterpreting the romance and grandeur for the modern bride. "Renaissance Reimagined" is all about balancing that historical elegance with today’s contemporary edge, blending classic opulence with a modern sensibility.

The Renaissance is known for its rich textures and intricate details. How have you woven those elements into your new designs?

We used luxurious fabrics like silk mikado, organza, and hand-embroidered lace to echo the richness of the Renaissance period. But I’ve also played with structure in a new way—layering textures, using dimensional embellishments, and experimenting with silhouettes. For instance, we’ve introduced dramatic ballgowns with sculpted bodices, ethereal sheaths adorned with intricate beading, and cascading trains that evoke the romanticism of the era but with an unexpected twist.

The modern bride is often looking for versatility in her wedding gown. How does *Renaissance Reimagined* speak to that desire?

Absolutely! Today’s brides want to feel timeless but also uniquely themselves. Many of our pieces feature detachable elements—like overskirts, capes, or dramatic sleeves—that give brides the option to transition from ceremony to reception effortlessly. I also designed many gowns with versatility in mind; a bride can style them in different ways, depending on her vision for the day, without losing the collection’s essence of refinement and grandeur.

Color has been a growing trend in bridal wear. Are we going to see any unexpected hues in this collection?

Yes! While ivory and blush tones remain classic, this season, I experimented with soft golds, dove gray, and even touches of lavender. These colors offer a subtle nod to Renaissance art but still feel very fresh and wearable for the modern bride. The palette is delicate but offers just enough contrast to stand out without overshadowing the bride herself.

Designer Ines Di Santo

The craftsmanship in your designs is always impeccable. Can you give us a sneak peek into some of the techniques or signature touches we’ll see in *Renaissance Reimagined*?

We’re incorporating a lot of hand-embroidery and 3D floral appliqués inspired by the gardens of the Renaissance. There’s also a focus on sculptural elements, like corseted bodices and voluminous skirts, that harken back to that era but feel light and airy in the way they move. Every gown in this collection is truly a work of art, with each detail meticulously crafted to ensure it feels both luxurious and effortless.

Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful vision with us, Ines. We can’t wait to see how *Renaissance Reimagined* captivates brides around the world.

Thank you! I’m so excited to see these gowns come to life and to share this journey with brides everywhere.
