COUNTDOWN TO THE COLLECTIONS: SAREH NOURI ON HER NEW COLLECTION, SECOND FLAGSHIP & MORE

Designer Sareh Nouri

Can you share your inspiration or influences you will be working on for the upcoming April market?

For the upcoming April collection, I am inspired by the timeless beauty of ancient civilizations, reimagined for the modern bride. Drawing from the elegance of historical eras, this collection will feature architectural draping, intricate handwork, and beautiful textures.

We are focusing on luxurious, high-end fabrics, including Italian novelty textiles, that capture the ancient beauty, blending historical influence with contemporary looks. This season expect sculptural silhouettes, ethereal layers, and romantic details that bring to mind a sense of regalness while remaining effortless and classic. I love having clean and novelty fabrics mixed together. The contrast between clean, structured fabrics and novelty, textured materials creates a perfect balance—allowing the gowns to feel both modern and timeless.

This collection is about showcasing the artistry of the past while creating something fresh and forward-thinking for our brides. We can't wait to unveil this at bridal fashion week this April!

Describe who your bride is and what they to wear today?

My bride is a woman of grace, sophistication, and effortless elegance. She is drawn to classic, timeless designs but also has a deep appreciation for fashion-forward details. My bride doesn’t chase trends—instead, she looks for a gown that feels eternal, regal, and refined, one that will make a powerful statement.

Today’s Sareh Nouri bride wants to feel like royalty, with silhouettes that are modern, made in the most luxurious fabricS. She gravitates toward clean lines, architectural draping, and couture-level craftsmanship, but she also loves novelty textures and intricate details. Whether it's a grand ball gown, an impeccably tailored column dress, or a romantic lace gown, my bride embraces an understated look —regal, yet completely wearable.

My bride sees herself walking down the aisle with confidence, knowing her gown is a true reflection of her elegance, taste, and love for timeless fashion.

What exciting updates or upcoming milestones can we expect from your brand?

We have an exciting milestone ahead at Sareh Nouri—I am thrilled to announce the opening of my second flagship in Chevy Chase, Maryland (DC Metro area)—my hometown!

Flagship Store in Chevy Chase, Maryland

This project is incredibly special to me because DC metro area is where I grew up, went to school, got married, and where my immediate family and closest childhood friends still live. As I researched locations, I kept coming back to this vibrant, upscale downtown, surrounded by young professionals and high-end retailers—the perfect setting for my brand.

My new salon will be next door to Tiffany’s, which feels so fitting as brides shop for their engagement rings just steps away. We are aiming for an early summer opening, and I truly believe this will elevate the Sareh Nouri brand, expand our reach, and bring even more visibility to our retail partners. While our bridal gowns will be a key feature, one of our biggest focuses will be growing our evening collection in this area.

I can’t wait to begin this new chapter and share this exciting journey with my brides and evening clients.

Another exciting milestone coming up at Sareh Nouri! I just launched my evening collection during Fashion Week, and the response from both press and our select retailers has been incredible.

This collection is particularly special to me because it highlights beautiful novelty fabrics from Italy and features vibrant colors designed for our evening clients and stylish moms. It’s a fresh, elevated take on evening wear, the gowns are timeless with modern sophistication. I’m excited to see how this collection resonates and can’t wait to share more as it continues to grow!

Where are your gowns designed and manufactured, and why is this aspect significant to you?

From the very beginning, it was my dream and commitment to manufacture my gowns in the United States, and I cannot express how grateful I am to make that a reality. Keeping production in-house gives me full control over every step of the process—from working closely with my pattern makers, sample makers, cutters, and quality control team, all within the same space.

This hands-on approach allows us to offer rush orders, major customizations, and fast shipping, and making sure we have the highest level of skills and service for our brides. While producing in the U.S. is significantly more expensive than overseas manufacturing, I wouldn’t have it any other way. My production team is like family, with some of our sample makers and staff having been with me since I first opened my design studio.

Our brides truly appreciate the "Made in America" aspect of our gowns. Those who do their alterations with us at our design studio get a special behind-the-scenes tour of the space, making their experience even more meaningful. It brings me so much joy to share that our gowns are made right here in New Jersey, and I hope to continue this tradition for years to come.
