Furthermore, in accordance with Katsura’s wishes, a memorial show (commemoration event) will be held in place of a funeral.

Paulette CLeghorn the brand’s creative director shared:

Allow me to share a poignant reflection from Oscar Wilde, a sentiment that resonates deeply with the remarkable life of Yumi Katsura: “To live is the rarest thing in the world. Most people exist, that is all.”

Indeed, Yumi embodied the essence of truly living, and I feel immensely privileged to have been and will continue to be part of her extraordinary journey.

Someone once said, "Time is an equal opportunity employer. Each human being has exactly the same number of hours and minutes every day. Rich people can't buy more hours. Scientists can't invent new minutes. And you can't save time to spend it on another day. Even so, time is amazingly fair and forgiving. No matter how much time you've wasted in the past, you still have an entire tomorrow."

May Yumi's memory serve as a beacon of inspiration, reminding us that through hard work, fueled by boundless passion, we have the power to realize our dreams and leave an enduring legacy.

ご冥福をお祈り申し上げます
