HYBRID Market for October - New York Luxury Bridal Fashion Week Update

The Bridal Council has been working with our designers, retailers and media members to determine everyone's interest and willingness to return to NYC for this October’s market.  As the impacts of COVID, CDC & NYC guidance continue to change each day, we want to share with you today, the results of a recent survey sent out to the designers and retailers on July 23rd.  We hope this information will give you insight into what your colleagues were planning as of that date and help you to make an informed decision as to what is best for you.

As market will be a hybrid of in-person and online, The Bridal Council will continue to offer the option of seeing the collections virtually via the Bridal Council X Pullquest digital platform on bridal.pullquest.net.  The platform will feature Fall 2022 Collections and support the showing of the new collections to those who attend market in person in NYC and those that participate virtually.

As The Bridal Council wants to support the industry and keep it thriving, we will have a Town Hall Meeting to give our retailers, designers and media members a chance to share their updated plans for October.  We will continue to provide updates to the community.

66.66% of retailers said they are planning to travel to NYC for market

64% of retailers will be attending market appointments, attending presentations/shows in person  

74% of retailers said they find having the Designers’ collection images & videos on Pullquest a helpful tool 

Designers Survey Feedback:

61% of designers said they are planning on traveling to NYC for market week

64% of designers said they would be holding market appointments in person
