Users can view, sort and select gowns by silhouette ( A-line, fit & flare, ballgowns, etc.), and fabrications (lace, satin, organza, etc.), giving the buyer/editor access to hundreds of styles with a click of their mouse” said Rachel Leonard, Editorial Director of The Bridal Council.
The Bridal Council’s designers were among the first fashion sectors to adapt to the usage of digital platforms to present their collections in March, 2020 as the pandemic began to take hold in the U.S.
The Bridal Council formed a technology committee who interviewed a group of technology providers to help the designers create their platform. The designers selected LA based Pullquest to form a strategic partnership. Pullquest, founded by Natalie Meyer and Pavel Presniakov in 2018 is a one of a kind brand discovery platform for fashion professionals and the preferred online solution used by leading celebrity and fashion stylists for booking clothes and accessories for their editorial assignments ranging from magazine photo sessions to Red Carpet appearances. Pullquest added its virtual wholesale showroom technology in March of 2020 to meet the needs of the changes in the marketplace.
“We are delighted to align with the designer members of the The Bridal Council to bring our technology to the bridal industry and modernize the order taking process and help buyers, editors and stylists streamline the search and booking process”, said Natalie Meyer, founder of Pullquest.
The Bridal hub will go live on October 5, 2020 and collections will remain live on the site allowing retailers to place re-orders for a period of six months. The Bridal Council X Pullquest site will have a global database of the finest bridal salons worldwide and 1000 plus members of the media, influencers and stylists.
