As for trends this season, I noticed that there was no shortage of sexy looks. I also saw lots of beaded glam, ball gowns, and gloves.

3) What new looks will you buy this season?

This season I plan on investing in more beaded pieces!

Diane Kotlartz, Ultimate Bride

1) What were some of your favorite collections?

We were in love with all of our designers’ collections. The florals and laces from Monique Lhuillier were beyond beautiful this season. The timeless looks from the Mark Ingram Collection. Ines di Santo covered all the wedding day looks and of course Berta never disappoints. Peter Langner’s evening wear was unbelievably gorgeous!! We are also excited about our newest designer’s collection, Elie Saab.

2) What trends did you see?

We were so excited to see gloves!!! Also, all the mini gowns and textured fabrics!

3) What new looks will you buy this season?

We will be adding all of the trends that we’ve been waiting for, gloves, minis and textured skirts.

Dorothy Silver, Kleinfeld Bridal

1) What were some of your favorite collections?

Some of my favorite collections this past market were Verdin BRIDAL NY, Nicole and Felicia, and Leah de Gloria.

2) What trends did you see?

The trends that stood out to me in this past market were lots of one shoulder gowns, puff sleeves, column dresses, floral prints, and lots and lots of bows!

3) What new looks will you buy this season?

So many of our brides have been asking for column gowns. I can’t wait to add that to our collections along with the one shoulder. In addition, I’m introducing a new designer Nicole and Felicia exclusively for us.

Melissa Russell and Natalie Bauer, Bella Bianca Bridal Couture

1) What were some of your favorite collections?

We are so excited about the new collection from Alon Livne. This season, Alon incorporated lace and beading back into his collection which has been largely architectural and clean for the past few seasons. Bride’s are always drawn to his unique way of showcasing details, so we think it will be a very strong season for this collection!

2) What trends did you see?

The trend that seemed to make its way into almost every collection was tiered tulle skirts. From a show stopping drop waist ball gown by Galia Lahav, to a romantic and flirty A-Line from Savin London, this trend was everywhere. We are excited to see the bride's reactions to this throwback look!

3) What new looks will you buy this season?

We are very excited to be bringing on a new aesthetic to our salon with Georges Hobeika. These hand beaded works of art are truly breathtaking and such a wow for the bride who needs to stand out amongst her peers. Whether it is a fashion forward mermaid or an extravagant ball gown, all the gowns in this collection are designed to ensure that there is no question as to who the star of the show is at the wedding. We look forward to working with the clientele that seeks out these truly magical gowns.

GALIA LAHAV

Mark Ingram, Mark Ingram Atelier

1) What were some of your favorite collections?

I feel that most of the designers I represent really stepped up their game this season. I especially liked Eisen Stein, Lela Rose, Dana Harel, Monique Lhuillier and Elie Saab, who I am so pleased to be carrying again in the salon.

2) What trends did you see?

Major trends included the continuation of the sleeve in all shapes and sizes. Long opera gloves were everywhere! Formal, unadorned, full skirted ball gowns. And last and not least, the very fancy, very elaborate, short flirty party dress which can be worn for a wedding ceremony or after party or rehearsal dinner.

3) What new looks will you buy this season?

I will again buy important formal long-sleeved gowns, all the matching gloves shown with the strapless dresses and ball gowns.

Pamela Olivo, Bridal Beginning

1) What were some of your favorite collections?

Ines di Santo was my favorite collection this season with strong, sellable styles combining a great mix of modern fabrics with traditional silhouettes. Allison Webb was also fabulous!

2)What trends did you see?

Lots of color and low backs! Less lace (yay!) and beautiful jacquard and painted fabrics.

3) What new looks will you buy this season?

I will buy more classic, clean lines this season. And more color as well!

INES DI SANTO

Laurel Mungo, Mon Amie

1) What were some of your favorite collections?

My favorite line this season was Suzanne Neville. I loved how fresh and feminine the collection was. I was also enthusiastic about Viktor & Rolf. Their collection was scaled back and romantic, and I absolutely loved it.

2) What trends did you see?

As for trends, I noticed that clean looks are still very important. Lots of slits are also very on trend as they add an extra element to the look.

3) What new looks will you buy this season?

This season I plan on investing more into lots of prints!

Beth Chapman, The White Dress by the Shore

1) What were some of your favorite collections?

I really loved the collections by Anne Barge, Lihi Hod, and Jenny Yoo.

2) What trends did you see?

I saw several trends emerge from the collections this season including gauntlet sleeves, bows, architectural necklines, detachable trains, jacquard fabrics, feathers, and last but certainly not least, little white dresses with fun details such as fringe, feathers, sparkle, and pearls. In addition, we loved seeing the diversity of body types and skin colors in the designers' shows! It is refreshing and needed in our industry!

3) What new looks will you buy this season?

We are thrilled that classic and feminine is “in style”. That is what our target clients gravitates towards. We bought heavily into a variety of little white dresses, convertible looks with detachable sleeves and trains, and finally we purchased a diversity of fabrications, such as jacquards, embossed fabrics, and beaded laces.
