Rita Vinieris X Project SemiColon X SoulCycle. Fashion for a Cause

On December 3rd, Rita Vinieris will be collaborating with Soul Cycle Bryant Park to host a charity ride in honor of Project Semicolon, a cause that is close and dear to her heart. Bringing awareness through fashion was the focus of her #Fall19 Collection, as she was inspired by emotions, humanity and community and wanted to maintain and reinforce the momentum. In order to keep the awareness alive through fashion and throughout the month of December, Rita will be kick-starting the month with a community ride to raise both awareness and funds through media coverage and publicity.

“Project Semicolon is a global non-profit movement dedicated to presenting hope and love for those who are struggling with mental illness, suicide, addiction and self-injury,” said Amy Bleuel, Founder of Project Semicolon.

As the holidays approach, December is particularly challenging month for those suffering from depression. Therefore, Rita felt it was the ideal time to reach out to those in need and let them know there are people who care about them. All of us know at least one person affected by this disease and want them all to be well and safe.

This year we lost Kate Spade and Anthony Bourdain to suicide, in 2007 we lost Isabella Blow, 2010 Alexander McQueen and 2014 L'Wren Scott - to name a few. While we are familiar with these names, there are many others in this world, not in the public eye, that experience depression and whose lives are ended by suicide. Love, support, awareness and communication is key in order to help those who suffer.

Rita Vinieris has asked her TRIBE, PACK, COMMUNITY of bridal stores to come together to help her achieve her goal for this amazing cause. Her goal for this ride is $30,000 and as a community she really thinks this will be easily attainable.

There are still a few bikes available for their charity ride. To book a bike please contact James Brown. If you are not in NYC and would like to show your support through a monetary donation please also contact James Brown: jamesb@rivini.com

LET’S SPREAD THE LOVE & MAKE OTHERS AWARE THAT EACH LIFE HAS MEANING AND EVERYONE HAS WORTH!
